Jimmys:
Jimmys is one of the newest music venues on the scene. Opening back in August, it made its mark with a superb first weekend.
With the likes of the Coral, the Real People and the Blinders having already taken to the stage, plenty more strong acts should follow.
As well as live music the venue also hosts other events as well as having its own craft beer.
Phase one:
A record store by day- and a music venue by night, Phase One is a great addition to the city.
Some big acts, including Peter Doherty and Circa Waves have both made appearances for album signings and instore sessions.
As well as that, a range of upcoming local acts have also appeared, with the venue being a great place to play.
Arts club:
The Arts club is one of the key venues on any band’s musical ladder.
With a stage down stairs, and one upstairs, it has a certain charm to it.
Some excellent acts have taken to the stage throughout the years, and it continues to be one of the leading venues in the city.
EBGBS:
Located in the basement of Heebie Jeebies, EBGBS is an excellent place to go.
With a intimate feeling, the narrow room can set up a great atmosphere for any band willing to take the chance.
Whilst it may be compact, that does not mean a big sound can not be created, with music bouncing off the wall.
The Cavern:
How could you not go? The Cavern is the club where the Beatles made their name on the Merseybeat scene, and the modern day equivalent provides some of that magic.
With acts on throughout the day and night, it’s a great place to go to listen to some of the best ever songs written.
With all of its history, the Cavern still remains one of the top music spots in the city.
