As if you weren’t aware, Christmas is almost upon us!!
Have you started your shopping yet? If you’re like me, you won’t have, and you’ll leave everything to the last minute.
Well, why not take the opportunity to enjoy the local Christmas Markets at the same as buying those presents for family and friends.
Liverpool is only a short train ride away, and their Christmas Markets are now open right through until 23rd December.
The Markets are open 11am-8pm Monday to Wednesday, 11am-9pm Thursday to Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
There are 40 stalls in front of St George’s Hall, which is really convenient for Lime Street Station.
All the winter huts are lit up with fairy lights, and look great in the evening.
This festive attraction is designed to act as the shop window on the City’s Christmas offers. It features food, jewellery, clothes, arts and crafts from across four continents.
No need to go hungry either! There will be a range of hot and cold food on offer, including mulled wine, cheese crepes, waffles, hot chocolate and of course bratwurst and gourmet burgers too.
New for this year is a brand new Windmill Bar. This will also serve traditional beers, mulled wine and other festive drinks.
For those prepared to walk a little once in Liverpool, the Ice Festival is returning this year, and it is bringing a massive Christmas market with it.
This is situated down on Liverpool’s Waterfront, and here you’ll find 50 more festive chalets nestled amongst the super-sized triple-lane ice slide, a large ice rink and giant Ferris Wheel. The Ice Festival will run from November 17 until January 7
